Damp: we treat the cause, not just the stain
Plaster soaked with moisture that blisters or crumbles cannot be fixed with a coat of paint. We strip the damaged plaster back to the brick, let the wall dry for as long as it needs, treat the source (ventilation, infiltration, rising damp), then re-plaster and repaint.
It sometimes takes longer than a quick roller job. But it is the only way to get a result that lasts.

How much does plastering or painting cost in Brussels?
The price depends on the surface, the condition of the substrate (cracks, damp, old wallpaper) and the level of finish. We visit for free and send an itemised quote within 48h.
Do you take on small jobs, a single room?
Yes. A bedroom to re-plaster or a living room to repaint is a job like any other, done with the same care.
How do you know where the damp comes from?
During the visit we look at where the marks are, the ventilation, the condition of the facades and joints. If a more thorough diagnosis is needed, we tell you before starting, not after.
How long does a wall need to dry?
It depends on the wall thickness, the season and the ventilation: from a few weeks to several months. We measure the moisture before re-plastering rather than fixing a date in advance.
Can I stay in the home during the works?
In most cases, yes. We work room by room, protect floors and furniture and remove rubble every day.
Can I get the 6% VAT rate?
Yes, if the home is more than 10 years old and mainly used as a private residence. The reduced rate is applied on the invoice.
